The “moral hot potato” is the constant passing of accountability for systemic and communal problems. Nobody wants to own the root causes, so blame gets tossed around continuously from one demographic to the next depending on who’s holding the other group becomes the scapegoat of Black America.

Truth is the moral hot potato in the Black community is built on a hypocrisy from a myth or myths we had nothing to do with and it’s just the blame game while everyone misses the bigger issues.
People don’t understand that it is a design or a system that operates like an invisible machine that is affecting them.
By making (insert whatever group you want here and it’ll still hit the exact same no bs) the perpetual scapegoats, BA itself internalizes an external script.
Instead of recognizing that these roles were imposed through slavery, Neoslavery, Jim Crow, War on Drugs, the Moynihan Report, mass incarceration, media stereotypes, the community begins to treat them as truths.
The myth solidifies into lived reality because everyone adjusts behavior and expectations around it. Shaking perceptions
We are doomed to continuously toss this hot potato causing us to in-fight endlessly on who’s holding on it instead of who tossed it between us all to begin with. The more the “potato” is tossed, the weaker the communal fabric becomes until unity is nearly impossible.
Fuck that potato it’s a distraction we in a potato sack and our enemies are working together to leap forward while we are here supporting their internal conflicts and wars as pawns.
If I’m being 100 rn Black Men are the current scapegoat of Black America and they are the holder of this hot potato (crucify me)
So to Black Men I urge you specially to drop it while we can and to not participate in this bs game that’s stacked against us because the hypocrisy is that we fight each other over a problem we didn’t create, inside a script we didn’t write, and for the entertainment of enemies who benefit from our strife and division.
