What matters more to you?

The integrity of the system to accurately classify various different ethnic groups without broad conflations by reflecting accuracy in one’s social, cultural, national, etc origins and making it fluid enough to constantly update itself despite how it disaggregate us into separate yet more ethical and truthful categories

OR

Conflating these ethnic groups under broad administrative labels that are filtered by archaic colonial language that was based off racist taxonomic systems. Yet keeps up “united” under an ideological of “We Are Black” or as I would say “phenotypical conflation” that keeps us arbitrarily united under a banner that same colonial structure produced

Is unity worth more than the truth? And if that unity is built on racist distortions, is it really unity at all?
